22 is my lucky number... I guess now I know Why!

 22 is my lucky number.. and today I figured out why! 

22 years ago today my prince charming was brought into this world and 22 years later I am the lucky girl that gets to call him MY HUBBY!!

Happy Birthday to the most amazing Best Friend! Today is my husbands Birthday! He is becoming a big boy.. 22 Years old Today! Did I mention that 22 is one of my lucky numbers.. I must be one lucky girl! ha  I have been waiting for this day to be here cause its a post I get to write all about him!

 I love my husband so very much and there is so many things that I could tell you about him, but I have decided to tell you my top 22 things since he is turning 22!

1. He has the most amazing smile. He can brighten up any room he walks into. 

2. He has the best personality. Being married to him never has a dull moment!

3. He is a hard worker. He works so hard to provide for our family.

4. He is the Ultimate Counselor. He always knows what to say to me to make me feel better. 

5. He Is the best Protector. He always makes me feel safe. 

6. He is my best Friend! I couldn't ask for a better one!

7. He is so Darn Handsome! Sometimes I just look at him and think how did i get so lucky??

8.He is such a goof ball. I love how from day 1 he has always been himself. He is such a funny guy.

9. He is going to be the best dad in the world! you should see him with his nephews. 

10. He is such a little athlete. I love that he always wants to be active and stay healthy.

11. I love how he never lets a day go by that he doesn't tell me how much he loves me!

12. He is the best Big Brother to My siblings!

13. He makes me a better person every single day.

14. He loves unconditionally and is never judegemental. 

15. He gives the best hugs!

16. He makes me the happiest girl in the world! 

17. He treats everyone with such respect.

18. He loves life. He is the greatest example of how you should live life. He never takes anything for granted.

19. He is always giving and never thinking about himself! 

20. He is so smart! When he puts his mind to things he is soo freaking smart! I swear I married a genius!

21. He is so romantic. 

22. He is the Most Amazing Husband that any girl could ask for! He is My Other half and I don't know where I would be without him! I know that God gives you that special someone to be your perfect other half! Derek Is my perfect half! I know that I am far from perfect but I am so glad that god gave him to me to be my perfect half! At the end of this week we will be married for 6 months.. Best 6 months of my life! I cant wait for all the adventures Derek and I have in store for us! I am so Thankful to have such and Amazing Husband!

Groundhog day.. Hopefully this is a Myth

I woke up on February 1st so excited it was ground hog day.. Sadly I was a day to early! My husband was so confused to why I was so excited to know if we were going to have an early spring or six weeks of winter, but little did he know that i was praying for an early spring everyday that week! Secretly I think he was hoping for spring too so I wouldn't complain about the cold anymore. ha ha I was praying in my heart that it would be an early spring, Little did I know that I had to wait one more day to find out. So .. On February 2nd I woke up and checked KSL first thing.. and that lead to sheer disappointment... SIX MORE WEEKS OF WINTER!!! I don't think I can Live!! I guess that means in March I am going on a Road trip to Cali to escape the late winter!

My husband Traded in the truck this weekend!  It was a bitter sweet feeling! We have had some many great memories in the truck. We took it on road trips, drive in movies, date nights and so much more!

We are now the new owners of this baby..  He didn't even look back when driving off the lot! We Love our new car and cant wait for the many memories we will have in it! Plus this car is a fantastic family car(great for holding babies) :)

The holidays

I love the Holiday season! There is so much to do and so many traditions that I love to participate in! This year Derek and I had to combine two family traditions into one holiday season. We woke up on Thanksgiving morning.. well I woke up early and watched the Macys day parade... My hubby was not all about watching it with me but I still love him! This is a tradition that I have in my family, We always use to get up and watch this parade with my mommy and grandma. After about a half an hour of watching the parade by myself, my cute husband came out to the couch and watch it with me! After the parade was over we did what most people would never do on thanksgiving day.. we went to the gym! I am so thankful that my cute husband loves to work out! He has been so patient with me lately and has been showing me how to work out! I Love that my husband is all about being healthy and working out! I guess we are going to live for a long time! :)

Then it was time to head over to my parents for Thanksgiving day dinner! My cute mom and sisters made a gourmet meal for us! We then went to my in laws! we got to hang out with everyone there! we watched some football.. ate lots of pie and good treats! We love our families and are so grateful for the amazing people we have in our lives!

I am so blessed to have such a wonderful life!  I have an amazing husband who loves me for me and who is for sure my better half! I could not ask for a better husband! He takes care of me always and is my total and 100 percent Best Friend! I love him so much!! 

I am so thankful for a beautiful home in which I live in, The most Amazing parents in the whole world! My parents have done so much for me in my life and I love so much! My sisters and brother who are my best friends! I have the best group of friends... my sisters and brother:) They keep me laughing on a daily basis! I am so glad that I still get to see them lots even though I do not live with them.  I also am so thankful for my 2nd family! I love my In-Laws! They are the best in laws any girl could ask for! I am so thankful for my sister in laws who have shown me great examples of how to raise a family and be great moms! I am grateful for my job, I am grateful for my talents that I get to use on a daily basis! Last but not least I am grateful for Our Savior and everything he has done for me and my family! I am so thankful for my membership in this church. I am thankful for all the blessings that I have received this year!!

Finally!

I FINALLY have figured out how to do this blogging thing! I am so excited cause I always read other peoples and have always wanted one of my own. Well first of all, I think that it is in order that I catch everyone up on my life thus far... Lots of SUPER exciting things have happened this year! First of all I got engaged to my Best Friend on May 14!! I thought that this was the best day... Little did I know that there were many more days like this to come:) Me and My cute Fiance had the best summer:) We went on lots of trips, Including Lake Powell, California and Vegas! Planned my beautiful fairytale wedding!! O and I GRADUATED from Cosmetology school in July!

Finally after lots of planning, wedding dress appointments,Extreme Excitment, all nighters... IT WAS FINALLY HERE! 

August 27th! The day I had been waiting my whole life for was here!:)! I married my Best Friend! 

This day was perfect! All of our family traveled in from all over the states for our special day! Our reception was Absolutely Gorgeous!! My mom really out did herself! I really have the best parents in the world! Thanks for making our day so wonderful!

Bahamas... Yes we went on a cruise to the Bahamas! It was such a blast! Best Honeymoon ever:) I am a very spoiled girl! We went jet skiing, shopped at the market, ate so much food, went to the beach and walked around Atlantis Resort! and Best of all a week with my hubby all to myself! I sure do have the Best Husband in the world! 

We got back to reality and settled down in South Jordan Utah. I finally got out of the bubble... well at least for a little bit! We have the cutest little apartment and I love decorating it! I am putting my hair career on the side for a bit while I work for my uncle at Food for Health international. (its a health place) but i  still do hair on the side... so if you need a cut or color give me a call:) Hopefully in March I will be in a Salon full time! My Hubby on the other hand ended a great year of curbing and now works For PMI.(sales) He will be attending the University of Utah full time In January! GO UTES! We love being Married and cant wait for the Holiday season to begin!!
